The Best Silhouette and Cricut Teacher Gifts to Make - Burton Avenue (2024)

Teachers are pretty amazing people. They work so hard to teach kids how to read, write, spell, do math, and so many other things. I’m really grateful for the awesome teachers my kids have had and for all the hard work they do. As the end of the year approaches, I always like to give the teachers a little gift to show how much I appreciate them. I love using my Cricut and Silhouette to make quick and easy gifts for teachers. With eight kids, you can bet I’ve made quite a few gifts over the years! And, there so many other bloggers who have done the same thing. So I thought I’d put together a little collection of teacher appreciation gift ideas you can make with your Silhouette or Cricut. These teacher gifts are perfect for Christmas, Teacher Appreciation Week, Year-End Gifts, and everything in between. The Best Silhouette and Cricut Teacher Gifts to Make - Burton Avenue (1)

Quick & Easy Silhouette & Cricut Teacher Gifts You Can Make

Teacher Mug

This teacher mug is not only cute, but it’s also super easy to make. With just a little vinyl and a Cricut or Silhouette, you can transform a boring white mug into a personalized gift for a teacher. To complete the gift, I placed an apple and caramel dip inside the mug. In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to apply the vinyl to the mug so it’s straight. To complete the gift, I placed an apple and caramel dip inside a tied it off with some cute twine. You can get the free SVG file to make this mug in the SVG library.

Teacher Subway Art Sign

This cute teacher subway art sign is another quick and easy project. You can make your own sign blank or you can find them at most craft stores.I’ll show you how I repurposed a small sign from the dollar store into a cute sign for the teacher’s desk. This project uses several colors of vinyl, so layering with registration marks is a must. Adding registration marks is the easiest way to be sure your vinyl is lined up just right. You can get the free SVG file to make this sign in the SVG library.

In Case of Emergency Funny Gift

I can’t even imagine what it would be like to have a classroom full of 20-30 kids, but I’m sure it can be a bit chaotic. Sometimes, a little humor and chocolate are what a teacher needs to get through the day. This gift idea is the perfect combination of both! I’ll show you how easy it is to create this one of kind gift for teachers (or anyone else you love chocolate). You can get the free SVG file to make this funny gift in the SVG library.

Teachers Change the World Sign

Teachers really do change the world and this little sign is the perfect way to let your teacher know it. For this sign, I used a premade sign I bought at the Dollar Store that was perfect for a repurposing project. It was cute, it just needed a little makeover. I painted it and added some vinyl to create this cute sign. You can get the free SVG file to make this sign in the SVG library.

Stenciled Teacher Clipboard

This stenciled clipboard is not only functional, but it also makes a super cute decoration for the classroom. In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to use stencil vinyl and a little paint to transform a plain boring clipboard into this darling gift for a teacher! You can get the free SVG file to make this clipboard in the SVG library.

Teacher Pencil Holder

Teachers always need supplies like pencils, scissors, markers, and so on. So, I thought it would be fun to make a cute container to store all their goodies in. To make this gift, you just need some type of container, a Cricut or Silhouette, and a little bit of vinyl. I found some cute little plastic paint cans that were perfect. I added the vinyl to dress it up a bit. Then, I just added the pencils and the gift was good to go.

Teacher Gift Basket

If your teacher likes treats (and who doesn’t), then this gift idea is perfect. I found this cute green basket at the dollar store and added the fun apple-shaped vinyl decal. Then, I filled the basket up with a bunch of yummy treats for the teacher. I wrapped it all up in cellophane and added a cute note and bow.

Teacher Tote Bag

How about this cute tote bag for your teacher. These bags are big enough to add some great classroom supplies like wipes, tissue, hand sanitizer, and so much more. You can use your Cricut or Silhouette to cut out a cute apple decal and add it to the bag.

Teacher Quote Sign

I really love this quote about teachers. Over the years I have put it on so many signs of different sizes and shapes. It always turns out to be such a cute gift! I use whatever wood I have laying around and change the layout of the quote to fit my board. That is the wonderful thing about using SVG files with a Cricut or Silhouette, you’re not stuck with using the file exactly as it comes. You can add and delete, shift around elements, and resize, so it fits your project.
